Happy 4th of July

June 26th, 2013 by Amanda Whitehead

As most people know, the furniture industry closes down for the week of the 4th.  I’m sure lots of you are getting ready to go somewhere to be with family and friends as well.  There’s always lots to do before that happens.  However, take some time, even just five minutes, and think about what the 4th really means to/for you and your family.  We often get so busy and caught up in our day to day doings that we often take for granted the privileges and freedoms that many men and women have given their time, effort and some their lives for us to have.  I know, I know, you’ve heard “all this” before.  Just take the time and fill in the blanks about what the freedoms that we enjoy mean for you.

If you know someone who has or is serving in the military, police or fire and rescue fields, take a moment to say ‘Thank You’.  They work really hard and risk their lives to keep us safe so that we can enjoy our holidays.  A sincere thank you goes a long way.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July.  We’ll be back up and running on Monday 7/8/13.
